Liverpool can win the league this season.

The Reds have done some serious business to strengthen their squad.

One of the major problems Jurgen Klopp had least season was the lack of depth in his squad, which meant they had little backup when some players needed rest. This was most evident in the latter half of the season, when Klopp had to rest his main stars due to crucial Champions League matches coming up. 

The outcome was not good. Ings and Solanke were not good enough, and Lallana was not sharp enough due to his injuries. 

In my opinion, this lack of depth was the major reason they failed to keep up with eventual champions City in the league, as Klopp rested his stars like Salah, Mane and Firmino in league matches during the latter half of the season. Without them, the attack looked bleak. 

That is why especially the signing of Xherdan Shaqiri might be so crucial for Liverpool this season. He is a quality player, with loads of experience. He has that ability to create chances out of nothing, and Ings and Solanke did not offer that. The Swiss can easily fill the gap for either Salah or Mane in that attack. 

Keita and Fabinho also bring plenty of firepower into the midfield, and Klopp will have more leverage to rotate them along with Henderson, Milner and Wijnaldum to keep everyone fit and fresh.

Furthermore, we all know what Sturridge and Lallana are capable of. If they can stay fit, it would be like two new signings for Jurgen Klopp. 

So, this is why Klopp's Liverpool are one of the teams I am looking forward to the most this season. I really think they can win the league this season with the stronger squad they have.
