Can Griezmann lead Athletico to greater heights?

The World Cup winner announced at the start of the tournament that he would stay at Athletico.

Keeping Antoine Griezmann at the club is more valuable than a new signing for Athletico Madrid. He is one of the best forwards in the world and has the potential to lead this team to even greater things in the coming years.  Under Diego Simeone, Athletico have changed the way people look at la liga, which was basically a two horse race between Real and Barca every season. Athletico changed that, by winning the league and even reaching the Champions League final in 2014.  With Griezmann staying for the foreseeable future, they might finally go on to win the coveted trophy and transform into a true European giant. He holds the key to a great future for Athletico in my opinion, which is why the club must build the team around him.
