Chelsea looked out of sorts against a very good City side and honestly, they were lucky they did not lose by a bigger margin. Their defense looked weak, the midfield never got going and their attack was lacklustre. Sarri's new system clearly needs time to be executed properly. The whole team has to adjust to Sarri-ball, which will be a challenge. The new signing Jorginho is accustomed to that style of play, but he got a taste of English football in this match. The game moves a lot faster than it normally does in Italy and he never really got hold of the game against City. He gave away the ball a number of times.
